Being in a co-working space means you get to interact with many different businesses and its always inspiring learning more about them and what they do. Eat Work Art host a Series of Resident Socials and I was asked to document their Chocolate & Wine tasting at Netil House. It was an evening of sampling chocolates produced by Pump Street Chocolate, learning the journey from bean to bar, and experience of what Winecdote’s masterclasss in winemaking and wine tasting are like. One of the few times I wished I wasn’t behind the camera.
Southbank Centre London | 20 Years of Foyle Young Poets
Hosted annually by The Poetry Society, is The Foyle Young Poets of the Year Award, an opportunity for any young poet aged 11-17 to have their poems published in the annual Foyle Anthology. 2018 marked the 20th Anniversary of the competition and to celebrate a gala event was held at the newly renovated Purcell Room at Queen Elizabeth hall part of The Southbank Centre. Ten writers, whom all started their poetry journey by winning the award, were asked to perform some of their pieces.

Every year The National poetry Library at The Southbank Centre holds an open day, where they display new and rare pieces from their collection for the general public to explore. The theme this year was ‘Odyessey’s’ with a reading from three poets that evening in response to the theme.

40ft Brewery Dalston London | Henningham Family Press Now Legwarmers Book Launch
A Friday evening in London always has lots going on so when I was asked to photograph an event for The Henningham Family Press, I couldn’t say no.
Held in the grounds of the 40ft Brewery, a great micro brewery in Dalston, was the book launch of Now Legwarmers, the debut novel by Pascal O’Loughin.
