I'd been looking forward to seeing Rose & Hassan again since spending a sunny Sunday morning on the Southbank with them. It was my first time shooting at the Old Marylebone Town Hall London and you could see why it was a venue for so many famous weddings. A beautiful Grade II Edwardian building which had been refurbished in 2018.
I found Hassan at the front greeting his guests, looking very dapper in a light blue suit. After taking a few pics I left him to relax inside, as I awaited the bride who was getting ready at home.
Rose arrived looking beautiful in a lace, vintage style dress by Whistles, sporting a pair of white Nike trainers, holding a bouquet of flowers she made herself (even getting some help from a radio presenter friend asking her listeners to help in sourcing some eucalyptus). We headed upstairs to the luxurious Westminster Room with her bridemaids (her daughters) and her son walking her down the aisle to a very happy Hassan.
After the ceremony I took them on a little wander to capture some shots in the venue then outside onto the sunny streets of the city. One of the things I love about any part of London is the many hidden spaces you can find if you just go for a wander. We then hailed a black cab and braved the afternoon rushour accross town to the reception.
The reception was hosted at a quirky London pub in Bloomsbury called The Marquis Cornwallis. I love a good London pub, but even better I love a wedding reception in a London pub. The Marquis Cornwallis was the perfect setting for the afternoon, the warm hospitally and charm of the place really helped to make the day a memorable one. The guests relaxed with a glass of Pimms and enjoyed the delicious buffet provided.
After the couple made some speeches, (including a not very private dance Hassan performed for Rose) I sneaked them away for a few more shots before leaving them to dance the night away.

Harp photographed our London wedding and I can't recommend him enough - the pictures are absolutely stunning. He was lovely and laid back, completely putting us at ease and ensuring that the whole process was completely unobtrusive. All the shots - posed and candid - are perfect and completely reflect the mood of the day as well as our personalities.
Harp emailed us a lovely slideshow of the photos before sending us all the shots (including those from an engagement shoot which comes as part of the package) on a USB stick, beautifully presented in a lovely wooden box with some special prints.
We really couldn't have asked for more - thank you, Harp!
